Privacy policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This is a plain summary of what data we collect on askit.site and what we do with it. The formal details, with your rights and the deadlines to exercise them, are in our data processing policy.
This is a translation of the original Spanish document. If the two versions differ, the Spanish version prevails.
Who we are
Askit is operated by Carlos Tello from Bogotá D.C., Colombia. For anything about privacy, write to us at hola@askit.site.
What we collect
Today we only collect what you type in the waitlist form: your name, your email and, if you want, your type of business. We also store the language you signed up in and the date, time and version of the policy you accepted.
We don’t store your IP address in our database. We only use it in memory, for a short time, to prevent repeated sign-ups.
What we use it for
To send you a single email the day the demo opens, in the language you signed up in, and to count, anonymously, how many businesses of each type signed up. We don’t sell your data and we won’t send you advertising.
How long we keep it
Until we send the launch email and, after that, for at most six months. Then we delete it. If you ask us to, we delete it sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your data, or to withdraw your authorization. Write to us at hola@askit.site. The deadlines and the procedure are in the data processing policy.
Minors
Askit is not intended for people under 18.
Changes
Before the demo and the Pro plan open, we’ll publish a new version of this policy that covers account, payment, document and conversation data. The date of the last update always appears at the top of this page.
